Amazing that this team is struggling through their post-cup run hangover and still gaining ground in the standings. Their ability to win games where they don't play that well is such a testament to their professionalism and depth.

Also without Bergeron that has totally messed with all of the line combinations.. besides just him being out and missing his talent/work rate.

I was being facetious, I didn't mean it too literally. It was just a really ridiculous play that embarrassed the defenseman, was disrespectful like nutmegging someone.
Gotcha...in that regard the whole damn play was disrespectful. In fact, his whole season has been.

Going back to that double minor. Is it really high sticking if your stick is lifted? I mean, it came right out of his hand. The broadcast crew didn’t even mention it however, so I assumed I just didn’t understand.

They were so fixated on the color of the tape to determine which stick hit him, like they were clever for pointing that out, that they never considered how the stick actually got there.

Pasta this season has basically been Dave Chappelle when he was beating the Make A Wish kid in NBA Jam. That or Homer against the Hamburgler.

Watching the goal though was really cool. Doesn’t get the breakaway and just sits in the Ovi spot. DeBrusk does an amazing job winning the puck and he just sits there waiting like a lion stalking its prey. Puck squirts out and boom. Tie game. Just knows where to be.

I was showing my son what a nice job Shea Webber did the other night on the line Habs’ lone goal. Follow the rush I’m, but then sits off the side in a perfect rebound position. Pasta with the same.
