5 points out of 6 for a three-games-in-four-days in Western Canada is great no matter how you slice it. Also, all even-strength goals, two by defensemen, only one by the top line... who is this team?

It was really 2 goals by the top line. The McAvoy goal was set ho by Bergeron and Marchand. When a D scores, I usually credit the forward line that’s out there since they typically do the heavy lifting. So I cinder last night 2 by the top line and 2 by the 4th line (!?!).

Anyway you slice it, 5 out of 6 points on the Western Canada swing is excellent. Could be season altering. Both goalies humming along now.
