That’s probably the most damning thing with this coach. Absolutely zero adjustment on either special teams unit.
I don't know if anyone else is watching but I'm really enjoying the alt cast. As I said earlier they all seem way more comfortable, and they were throwing around fun stories like Bergy screening for Z's slapper and Tuukka learning he doesn't want to practice against it, to how Z and Bergy set the culture. You can also hear in Bergy's voice they aren't playing up to the level he expects
Ok, I've tried to defend Sway on goals that might not exactly be his fault, but the lack of any second effort there was fucking embarrassing
He hasn't been as bad as his numbers suggest, there have been a couple goals people blame him for that aren't on him, and he's had a lot of really bad bounces against him, more than normal. The issue is he's not improving/settling in, he's getting worse, he's fighting his positioning all the time. He didn't give up many softies to start, now I feel like we get one a game

In other news, I’m reading Dwight Evan’s new book “Dewey: Behind the Gold Gloves”. It’s a great read for anyone who grew up watching him masterly play right field in Fenway or use Walt Hriniak’s batting approach to become one of the best hitters of the 80’s
It’s also a quick read. He is a great guy with a pretty compelling personal story. I hope he gets another round of consideration for the Baseball Hall of Fame because he should be in.
