I think it's possible that the Canadiens' embarrassing antics have finally soured the refs a bit. They're were a few obvious dives and embellishments last night that didn't lead to calls.

What was it, 2 penalties on the B's in 2 games at the Bell Centre? That's inconceivable.

The refs have overall been as good as we could hope for, I'm hoping it continues.

Victory Pils at Prof Thom's once again. Join me NYers if you wish. FWIW I called Matt Fraser early in the second as the guy who would put in the B's first goal. That line had jump all night and I (and Norm, obviously) had the sense that it was going to come from an unlikely source. Plus he ripped one from the slot early on and I liked his hunger. Still pumped and jacked and psyched.

I like how the author establishes his lack of credibility in the first sentence by writing "This was a game the Canadiens 100 percent needed to win."
I stopped reading when he said the Bruins weren't mobile on D. Half the D are more mobile than most forwards.
