I'm a massive proponent of front office solidarity in general, when things are working, as it's typically a sign of the franchises that are consistently strong both on and off the field/court/ice. I hope Bruce is around for a long time—good fit for the team and for how things go in the league these days.

The team trusts him and he trusts the team. You can't buy that, it has to be built. As long as that trust remains, I believe that this team will do well and so will he as its coach.

I love it. He is the perfect coach for this team as it is right now, and I hope it stays that way for a long time. He has just the right amount of Belichick mixed with personality for an NHL coach in Boston, he has helped develop players well, while still allowing the veterans to be key players on the team, and he holds his players accountable without throwing them under the bus.
