Low bar to clear here. It is probably “be better than Acciari”

He looked OK at times during the Olympics. Skated well, but I think he tired when they were playing 3 games in 4 days. Decent enough #’s with the Sabres last season.

Nothing to lose here unless there was a better option that only cost the veteran minimum. Donny is on fiyah this week!

Veteran minimum-ish deal for a depth move to bolster the bottom 6 in case someone goes down and the ability to rest guys for a day occasionally.

He's here to be the eventual heir apparent to Jerry York isn't he. Watch him retire after the season and get an asst. coach job in Chestnut Hill for 2019.

I was in attendance when Gionta scored 5 goals in one period against Maine in 2001. Was probably the single most impressive athletic performance during my time there, which included Troy Bell’s many virtuoso performances and William Green.

Greg Brown is getting Jerry's job, when Jerry decides to hang up the blades
Giaonta is depth for PP and PK, as much as I love the guy being a BC guy, he/s a 4th liner/healthy scratch at this stage
