Should be getting some help back tonight. Ritchie, DeBrusk and Bergeron are GTD’s, with Cassidy anticipating that Ritchie and DeBrusk will play. Bergy is a full go at morning skate but I’d think they’ll see how he’s feeling around game time before making a determination.

Marchand - Bergeron - Pastrnak
DeBrusk - Krejci - Ritchie
Bjork - Coyle - Heinen
Nordstrom - Kuraly - Wagner

Chara - McAvoy
Grzelyck - Carlo
Vaakanainen - Clifton

Rask

Krug skated yesterday and could be back later this week. Miller could return next week.

The B's seem to be having a much easier time getting through the neutral zone so far. I think that explains why they've felt in the offensive zone more.

Mackenzie Blackwood sounds like the name of the “bad boy” character from a victorian romance novel

I want to talk about both of the first two goals:

Grzelcyk's game has always been being in the right place. That was the right place to pinch. Good job on him.

Pasta holding up and letting the Devil's pursuers go past him and block Blackwood's view and being rewarded with an open net is smart hockey.

Yes, this team is athletic. This team playing smart is dangerous though.

Looked offsides to me live. God forbid NESN give us a replay.

Just watched the replay twice, admittedly in real time, but that definitely looked offsides, and not really close, either.
I was screaming at it live and no one even mentioned it. I felt like I was taking crazy pills.

In other news, Pasta is good.

The Devils are not a good team, but this was the B's best effort so far. Total team, all 60 minutes.

And Montreal and Buffalo got smoked. Tampa tied with St Louis, would like to see them lose.

As an aside, how has Tampa only played 17 games?
