This team is pure trash. Not sure how it gets fixed either.
I am not a reactive fan, I am too old to think that just dumping the coach is a simple fix.

At the same time, Monty is completely out of ideas. This on top of the playoffs two years ago and surviving Toronto by the skin of his teeth last year. I think we’ve seen enough of him at this point. Who knows who comes in, but I don‘t think we have the right guy in charge at this point.

I mean.. they could conceivably come back from this... but man I'm not sure a lot of Bruins fans will see it if it happens. 40 minutes of hockey left, but I'm heading out for some west coast trick or treating.

Monty has more hair on his head than ideas in it.

Horseshit call.

I want to see this team show some self-respect and come out playing hard in the second.

How can you say a coach can’t fix this? How? We don’t know it can’t. We’ve seen hockey coaches come into a place & turn things around.

Likely? Maybe not. But, Monty’s gotta go. It’s the only path forward now.

It's the NHL. I honestly don't know how he's still here. Probably not a good retread available.

A change needs to be made.

At this point, whatever lever is left to the GM and VP? This is just brutal. I've been against it cause I'm not sure it fixes the root cause. But man, this team is playing like they want him to be fired.

I hate that this team has kinda turned into how I watched the Pats with Mac last year, I'm having too much fun watching them fail because if I let it bother me I'd just be hate watching every game

Between here and everywhere.
Just for Lindholm, Zadorov, and Swayman - Sweeney spent 150 million in contracts this off-season.

I'm not saying it's all Monty's fault - but Sweeney went out and improved on the team (at least on paper) from last year. Jake DeBrusk and Derek Forbort and Danton Heinen were not what made this team as good as they were last season.

And before TFP comes in here and accuses us all of not holding the players accountable - yes, they're playing like shit. McAvoy has regressed. Pasta is doing Pasta'ing. Zacha will never score again. I think Coyle might actually be dead.

But it's a coaches job to get the best out of his players. For whatever reason, the players aren't responding to Monty right now. And while that might not be 100% Monty's fault - you can't fire the 2/3 of the team that's not responding to him.
