Tuukka came up big and bailed us out in this game. That's the difference. Boom.

The B's championship formula: a totally lackluster PP and shutdown goaltending.

All Fraser needed to was mention where he bought the froyo and he would have had the quickest endorsement deal in history. Froyo for everyone.

I like to win.

I love that the ending was on a dirty lunch pail goal by a callup.  They aren't losing again this series.  The floodgates have been opened.

Incredible for Fraser, probably won't be with Boston but guy's going to have a solid journeyman career somewhere and it's great to see him rewarded on the biggest stage.

Says who?   Guy is still young and has lit up the AHL and the Q before that.  He's no generational talent but its not crazy to think he could be a solid to good  NHL player.

I just want to add that I am too young to remember #4, but there are times when Dougie Hamilton has the puck and seems to say, "You know what? I'm taking this thing and skating with it and there is nobody who is going to take it away from me.... ever," that make me feel like what the older fans must have felt like when Orr took over.

I'm not saying that Dougie is the next Bobby Orr, but god damn is he fun to watch.

Great win tonight. It wasn't always pretty, but they sure did battle their asses off.

Hamilton is a stud.

Price has been really good on low shots, so it looks like they've made a conscious effort to raise the puck. Just a little too high tonight, I guess.
I've had to catch the CBC feed for the last two games and they had a graphic showing that they've scored five of their goals glove side so you may be on to something.

And that final goal was all Soderberg. Great job fighting to win the puck in front from Price's poke check attempt.

Also nice to see the dumb looking Hab fan with the anniversary striped prisoner uniform and douchy soul patch scream no as the B's scores.

After those results I think it's only fitting to post this clip from one of the good songs on St Anger:

I reject the premise that there are multiple good songs on St Anger.

The whining is appropriate because Lars.

As great as it was to have the kid score the goal, it seems like it was within about half an inch of being an own goal by Lars Eller, who slapped it toward the net when he was trying to strip Yeti.  I mean, that would have been kind of great for an ending too.

One thing the Bruins did real well last night was shut down PK Subban. Need to keep that going.

I like the 2 fans that go all Dennis Drinkwater and pretty much sprint up the aisle right as the light goes on.

Is it Saturday night yet?

Yeah, that's right, Gionta. It's over. Fuck you, ya royal fucking douche.

Love the awesome Newman/Redford vibe in this shot of Dougie and Fraser.

Drifted away from Hockey for many years until recently BUT the greatest player I've ever seen in any sport is Bobby Orr.

Granted the players are faster and quicker today but those clips brought it all back for me - he was beyond any other hockey player before or since. He was so much better than everyone else, it is almost silly watching that 7 minute highlight reel.

How fucking surreal is it that I'm watching a replay of the guy we traded Hannu Toivenen doing the player of the game interview for this team? Holy Shit!
