Live in the burbs so can’t help you other than to tell you it’s Philly Beer Week. So if you fail to find other Bruins fans, at least find a bar with a great tap list this week.

Not Lynn (or Ocean Side)
Damn right there are a bunch of others, like Oscar’s, although it’s not so much a sports bar as it is a relic of a different time and altogether other planet. It’s kind of like a bar you’d expect to find on Tatooine.

But seriously, I wouldn’t go to Oscar’s if not dragged there by others, which is sometimes the case. Not great for TV viewing. I’m not really contributing positively to this thread.

So we went to Smith’s. They put the game on in the back room with the sound, which was great. They also happened to be having a charity raffle in between the first and second period that A) raised money for cancer research, and B) saw several of us walk away with prizes like a golf bag, a bottle of whiskey, a new cooler, a bar tools set, and a charcoal grill (the winner of the grill gave it away to one of the regular so he wouldn’t have to fly home with it). Only downside was the Bruins lost.

Are they still putting up those ridiculous quotes, or did they stop after the $100 makeup/facial one.

Smith's is good but it is more of a Pats bar and Sometimes Red Sox.There is a meetup group called Boston sports in philly.com or something like that. It's run buy a guy from Mass originally. They met games 3 and 6 at a place in King of Prussia Pa. called the Fox and Hound. They will probably do Smith's Wednesday night.

The "Boston Meetup Group" is meeting at the Fox and Hound next to the King of Prussia mall in King Of Prussia Pa. I'm pretty sure I'm going to Smith's in downtown Philly. That's located on 19th street between Market and Chestnut.
