One of Tom's superpowers has always been that he has elite competitiveness -- that he wants to win more than his peers and works harder. The two seasons where it seems like he had some off-field distractions--2019 and 2022--it seemed like his whole compete level was compromised.
I don't mean, BTW, that he "doesn't want to win" or anything -- but rather things like him doing less work with receivers (think: his sessions in Montana with Edelman and Amendola). I get that almost all of his receivers have missed games this year, that guys like Jones and Rudolph are new, and there's no Gronk. To my eyes, Brady doesn't look much different physically than he did in 2019, but his timing with his receivers is a mess. Has he generally had fewer reps with these guys? It certainly seems that way.
