I forgot about that.

Will be pretty funny if the Steelers open up at Foxboro and both Blount and Bell are missing. I'd take that tradeoff.

Whoa, nice job on the thread title. It truncates to "Blount suspended for 2015 s[eason]" on the forum ToC.

My first instinct was that Goodell found a way to blame blount for ballgazi.

I guess he should have beat his wife off camera for the two gamer.

And on top of it, he's being punished under guidelines that weren't in effect at the time of the incident. Maybe for once the NFLPA can actually do something.

Fuck Goodell. He's 100x worse than Stern ever was.

A Pittsburgh Steeler fan is pretty low on the list of how I look at myself, but this really is bullshit.  Bell got the extra two games (plus losing another game check), apparently, because he was driving the car in which he and Blount were pulled over with the weed in it.

And because he was driving high and charged with DUI. I believe his defense was "I didn't know you could get charged with DUI for that." This seems like a fair punishment to me, provided it's the standard punishment going forward. The NFL wasn't doing enough in the past in these cases; I'd rather they fix it now than stick with a bad system.
