Things I learned recently:

Kate Smith??? OMG. She was the Flyers good luck charm that sang God bless America before Game 6 of Stanley Cup finals 1974 between Bruins and Flyers, one of my worst sport heartbreaks. (We moved to Philly in 71) I'm surprised they would have wanted her. Bad memories for Boston fans.
