I was just looking on soxprospects.com and was wondering about comparable sites for Yankee's fans. Or any other MLB teams for that matter but Yankees in particular.

Oh, I pretty much thought that. This place wouldn't be as good without those Yankee fans. I was just wondering if there was another site with almost the same quality that just caters to them.
It used to be RAB. There are a couple of forums out there that I'll take a look at every so often but from a pure information standpoint there are surprisingly few places. Pinstripealley is okay and scratches the itch to get constant new "material" to read. To be honest, I live on twitter for Yankees info. Katie Sharp is unbelievable. Lots of good follows, including RAB who has a lot more freedom to post on twitter than he did on the site.

Thanks, That's interesting. Twitter is fine for getting info but is kind of dry. Even with the increase in characters. SoSH has enough characters to have interesting conversations.

Yeah, it's pretty thin out there. I have an ongoing theory that a team's fan base is (gets) stupider the more success they have, so it's quite possible that the Yankees have the single dumbest collective fan base. The comments on almost any Yankee post on Twitter prove this nicely as does the entire nyyfans site.

The Bronx View: This is a good one I discovered recently, they run through every day's minor league games with extra insight, definitely recommended for anyone interested in closely following the NY minor leaguers. Rating: 9

Views from 314 Ft.: This is a very new site started by all of the non-Mike Axisa writers on RAB, they post a bunch of times per day but it is generally pretty superficial and often wrong. Hopefully it will get better, but I'm not holding my breath. Rating: 4 for now

Pinstripe Alley: I believe every team has a SB Nation site, this is NY's. Again, a lot of posts, so good for those constantly jonesing to read Yankees-related material, but again their pieces are often completely wrong, based on faulty theses and often just totally pointless. Rating: 5

Well, success does have some drawbacks. You have to hope that eventually they'll learn to love America's greatest game.
