Figured I wanted to start the thread so some of you guys who truly hate Pete Carroll would have to deal with the topic title instead of getting to troll us Seattle fans on this board.

Opening line is SEA -2.5

Lets get this thing going with this GIF

Pete will have some stem cells or something on tap to get Sherman healthy again.

Boy, this is going to be a long two weeks.

- Continued drug accusations
- 1M references to Seachickens
- Endless chest thumping about how Seattle got lucky and skated by (editor's note: We did)
- How the Pats are world beaters
- How the Seahawks constantly disrespect Tom Brady (despite Brady starting the trash talk in that game)
- How the Seahawks defense really sucks and isn't any good

Did I leave any storylines out?

You forgot how shitty Pete Carroll is as a human being and how Russell Wilson is heavily overrated

My heart goes out to you poor Seahawks fans, lamenting your own decision to frequent a Patriots board.

In all seriousness, I don't think you'll see a lot of that. I think Seattle will be pumped as the dominant defense against Brady's offense/legacy.

I grew up with them being called the Seaturkeys.  Never heard seachickens used until I left the PNW after college

Even according to Sherman, Sherman started the trash talk: http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/shutdown-corner/richard-sherman-beats-tom-brady-taunts-pats-u-104646336--nfl.html

"I kept saying I'm going to get that next time. Every TV timeout, I went up and said it right to [Brady]: 'Please keep trying me. I'm going to take it from you.' That was when they were winning. He just gave me that look and said, 'Oh, I'll see you after game.' Well, I made sure I saw him after the game."

Congrats to all the Pats fans. It's not often that a Conference Championship game is fucking atrociously boring before the end of the third quarter.

As a Denver fan I might go to the movies in two weeks instead of watching this game. LOL

Yeah, check the game threads the past couple of weeks.

My uncle calls them Sea Crows.  I thoroughly enjoyed not retaliating against him when the Hawks came to Philly and beat his Eagles.

NFL Network crawl said that Earl Thomas has a dislocated shoulder but says he will play and that it's believe Sherman has Ulnar nerve damage in his elbow but says he will play. Paging DRS!!

Sherman will be fine.  If he didn't miss any snaps in this game, he isn't going to miss any in the Super Bowl with two weeks to recover.

I thought dislocated shoulder is the worse one vs. separated shoulder.  Dislocated shoulder is like a 5-6 week injury, but I could be totally wrong.

Don't know anything about nerve damage to an elbow, but I have to imagine he can still cover with that injury.  Shedding blockers and tackling is probably another story, so I imagine BB and McDaniels will figure out a few creative ways to run the ball at Sherman in two weeks.

Don't pay more than $2.50 till morning. He was at the game and on a first name basis with his beer vendor.

Not sure what the injury actual means but adrenaline can be a hell of a drug.  Assuming Seahawks players can still naturally produce it, of course.

Did I do that second part correctly?

Well... That doesn't mean he will be "fine". Brady didn't miss time in 2008 with his busted ankle, and he played, but the injury was probably a difference maker.

Sherman with a bum arm is not going to be able to cover Gronk, for instance.

A friend of mine who works with the team (the same one who I posted Super bowl party pictures from last year) said ETIII's shoulder is separated not dislocated.  Confirm that Sherman's appears to be nerve damage but they wouldnt know the extent until most tests are done.

I expect you are going to see a ton of Chancellor getting matched up on Gronk similar to what Seattle did against Denver and Julius Thomas last year.

Plus, the use of 'we'. You can put on a #12 jersey, you're still not on the team.
