I found this on reddit, it's extremely cool.

I sync'd up about 70,000 videos with my PITCHfx search tool. You can now run ad-hoc queries against PITCHfx data and watch the video if it's available. For instance, here is all home runs hit on sliders since 2008 when the page loads click a players name and there will be a TV icon on the far right, click that. Here is all home runs hit on fastballs faster than 95MPH.

I haven't run any intricate searches yet, but the first impression is definitely great

Ridiculously cool, and super illegal. I've gotten angry messages for things that are way, way less obviously infringement.

So MLB owns the copyright on the search algorithms as well?

They own the copyright on all the videos, which are playing on his website without any specific editorial content (which is the loophole that SB Nation and other GIF/Video sites use to post video). For example, any time Rob Neyer posts a GIF of Cespedes hitting a bomb, he has to say, "Here's a GIF of Cespedes hitting a bomb, look at his sweet stroke, the As currently lead 4-2, he obviously loves leaving Cuba" or something next to the image, which is editorial content generated by a person about that specific clip.

(I obviously did not invent these rules, they are just what I have been told about 10000 times. Similar rules prevent me from posting live PITCHf/x data.)
