I don't care what anyone says, it was a fucking blast watching the bruins this season. Whatever, they blew it in the end, but I still have very fond memories of this season. It brought me so much joy.

Bring on the hardware!

Someday, probably sooner than any of us are willing to have be true, we are not going to get to watch him play anymore. The amount that I am able to enjoy watching sports will take a serious, major hit that day.
So next year? Because I truly believe he's done. Sucks because he's still the best in the buisness. But I honestly believe he's not coming back. I really hope I'm wrong though. Still its been an amazing ride watching him all these years. We're lucky to have had him in Boston his entire career showing everyone how the game should be played.

I feel the same way.

Person should have their credentials taken away. I don't know how you can put McDavid 2nd, let alone 5th.
Yep. There is no defense here if you watch the man play. For awhile there was a bit of a debate between him & Matthews, but McDavid has put him in the proverbial footlocker & skated circles around him.

Will be interesting to see if Bedard can come close to living up to the hype, but the levels of ridiculous from McDavid are astounding.

Well, we just saw a historical age 25/26 season from the best offensive player in the world. He may be about to reel off a few more in a row or he may never achieve this height of powers again while still being the best player in the game. Either way we just saw an all time performance.

I think Bedard is incredible but I worry he may take a few years to be an impact player and the pressure will be intense.

Is McDavid better than Crosby was?
Very different players. McDavid is more talented- he may be the most revolutionary player since Orr, although it’s pretty fair to say since Mario or Wayne. Sid is ridiculous though. I think you have to pick 97 over 87 if you’re drafting players but Sid got them chips…

McDavid has 3-4 skills that might not just be generational, they might be the best that we’ve ever seen. His acceleration, speed, stick, and shot are things that I’ve never seen before from a player. Maybe his shot has some comps, but we’re talking like 1-2 guys ever. But the guy is a large dude and is the quickest, fastest, shiftiest player I’ve ever seen, and also has a motor that wants to get to that speed all the time. It’s like if you put MJ, LeBron, Randy Moss, Brady, and Simone Biles into a blender, and then put skates on him just to see what would happen.

Sid's faceoff skills and defensive awareness are phenomenal. Just wait till McDavid gets there on those two aspects.

Did anyone catch Ullmark's speech? What in the world was he getting at with the Monty, Goalie Bob, butting heads on what they want to achieve? What?

There was a Fluto article earlier this year about how UIllmark didn’t want to switch things up to incorporate back flow into his game, and that he appreciated a relationship with his goalie coach that allowed both of them to approach things with their own strong feelings and to have to make the case to change things. I don’t really have an issue with what he said, in light of that.
