AUCTION ITEM: Golf at Salem Golf Club, North Salem, NY

Apologies for the lateness of posting this, but for members who live around the CT/NY area (or who just want to drive for a round of golf) I'm going to offer up two rounds of golf at Salem Golf Club in North Salem. There are only two spots because becasue the winning bidder(s) will join me (as the member, I have to play) and SoSHer @johnmd20 who will be coming up from NYC to play with us.

The round, cart fees, lunch/snack and 19th hole is conservatively valued at $150 per person. I'll keep this open for two weeks, so March 18th will be the deadline. Please specify if you are bidding as an individual or for two rounds, as the bids will be evaluated on the per round basis.

I’ll kick off the bidding at $150 as a single. I’m somewhere between a really bad and piss poor golfer. This would just be for the chance to hang with 2 people I greatly admire.

Life has gotten in the way of me being able to bid on this, but I will just say AR is a fantastic host and makes these a great day of golf. If you are in the area and can make it happen, I strongly recommend bidding on this.

I'm extending this until we find a fourth. This went for something like $300 a round last time offered, and as ERR will attest, all bidders were highly satisfied.

I'm a single digit handicapper, John is mid-teens, and George is maybe slightly higher than John. I say that so all should understand that the focus is on having a good time on a challenging course.
