This might be their only chance to get a run in before this thing is over. Have to make it count.

'Big Game' goes 5.1 innings.  Seems small to me...

Edit; oops, only 5+

What a swing and miss on the HR call!

Even on TV, watching it was clear that the center fielder was running scared.

So why bring in a starting pitcher in that spot? Especially a righty to face Moss? Baffling
The kid throws 100 MPH. He keeps the ball up, I doubt Moss is catching up to it.

Why the hell do you take out Shields and put in a starting pitcher with runners on?  Especially when Herrera was warming in the pen? It's not like they don't have the best bullpen in baseball...

And now the announcers talk through the Reddick line single.  Terrible

Ned Yost should be fired on the spot.

In what universe do you go to a rookie starter in the middle of an inning instead of your 3 all world and fully rested relievers?

When the CF pivots so you can see his uniform numbers, as an announcer you should sense something is up.

Really. And Davis is a former starter so I'm sure you could pull more than 1 inning out of him if you had to.

Can you fire a manager after he surpringly took you to your first "playoff" game in 29 years?

From what I've read about Yost, I don't think anyone would be complaining.

That was awful - that homer is HUGE, how do you drop the call so badly?

And what he heck with the announcers again.  Telling about upcoming free agency while not noticing that Yost is out to yank the pitcher.

To be fair, this isn't the first time a starting pitcher has come in in relief in the post season with men on and given up a HR
to be fair to who?

Doesn't that make it even more of a mistake to bring Ventura in?

Ernie Johnson has been dropping the ball on his announcing since he was made lead announcer
