I root for the team that has been away from the limelight the longest

I want a Royals/Pirates World Series, which, coincidentally, happens to be Fox's nightmare scenario.

Holy line of thunderstorms approaching Kansas City.

This would be such a disaster for MLB.  Do they call the game for tonight and resume tomorrow? Or delay it deep into the night/morning?

KC is a good story, but the A's have the staff to potentially go all the way.  I don't know why people would be rooting for KC over Oakland here - anyone want to make the (obviously subjective) case for it?
It just doesn't work like that for me. Sometimes you need to watch the game before you know who you want to win. You find yourself happy when one thing happens and not when another thing happens.

I really want Lester to come back to the Sox, but if he pitches the A's to a championship his price tag probably goes up another 10-20M.

Don't know if this has been mentioned before, but:

Is anyone else partly annoyed at how good this game is, since it helps validate the still-dumb idea of this game?
