Mayo, a complete joke.
AVP (total shit show in the first half. We have a QB, let him play)
Kraft for putting up with this complete collapse.
Linebackers. It's not their fault; they just have zero talent.

The defense sucks so much.

The offensive line might suck worse.

The coaching might suck worse than that.

And the front office and ownership might suck the most. A pathetic roster player playing a shitty game against a mediocre opponent.

The dynasty is so fucking far in the rearview mirror it isn’t funny. What a pathetic franchise they are now.

Again you guys are too spoiled. No one wanted to sign with us last year. And not every rookie makes an immediate impact

Giants and Raiders. I can’t believe this team won’t get the first pick.

Kraft.

It is shocking how bad the front seven has been. The LBs are lame except for Jennings who is consistently good against the run. White has cooled off. They get no pressure. Dugger and Peppers gave them nothing today.

Getting stuffed at the three was brutal. Then the awful call on the Kyler interception sealed the game.

Polk continues to give them nothing at least he is consistent. Is he worse than Harry and Thornton?

They were 4-13 last year with the worst QB play this league has ever seen, and somehow despite getting a great young franchise QB they are much worse this year. They are 7-23 in their last 30 and very likely to lose out which would put them at 7-27.

That's completely unacceptable at any level. That's not being spoiled, that's being appalled at the incompetency that infects every level of this organization.

Because no one wanted to play here last year. Belichick was gone. We had no QB as far as any FA knew. Several players took less money elsewhere to try and win

I love how we have to take "no one wants to play for this organization" as a fact of nature, and not as a huge indictment that fans have every right to be upset about.

You can get players by offering more money. You can try drafting some good players, which Wolf hasn't been able to do. You can make trades.

You simply cannot regress.

Clearly Wolf is 1 for 30 (Maye) in his first decisions this year, and from what I understand, was part of the past two years' 1 for 40 hits (Gonzo).

Unless he is Willie Mays, he's not going to be part of the future.

What does this have to do with anything or the fan base being spoiled? The franchise has been so poorly run since Brady left that they can only manage 7 wins in two years and nobody wants to play here because it is such a bad situation.

Spoiled was when we freaked out after every loss, or lamented the fact that they were the #2 seed and lost in the AFC championship game some years. Being frustrated and disgusted at the state of the franchise right now is not being spoiled. Any fan of any team that is in the Patriots spot right now should be frustrated.

I'm just not going to jump all over Wolf when Belichick fucked up the roster at the end and its on record he overrode everyone on the draft each year. Its too early to judge on this draft yet. If they suck again next year then ok blast away, but right now it comes off as spoiled.

Wolf'd first draft yielded Maye (a no-brainer at 3) and ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ELSE.

For a team that fans screamed needed help up and down the board, Wolf's first draft yielded literally no one else that can play. It is a disaster.

So yes, Wolf deserves immense blame. He did NOTHING with his draft.

Its not even a full season in. You expect miracles right off the bat. plenty of rookies take time
Stop it with this bullshit. Nobody is expecting miracles. We’d like to see some of the rookies show they might be useful NFL players. Aside from Maye none of them have shown that, like at all. Players can take time to develop but most who ultimately become quality NFL starters show some flashes of being able to play. Nobody is mad that none of the Pats rookies are going to make the pro bowl.

1. Mayo and the defensive coaches. It has gotten ridiculous. Fire them all. They are in free fall.
2. The offensive line. Holy shit.

There was a point in the first half when the cameras focused on Kraft père and fils. It was right after an inane handoff to Gibson that lost four yards. Jonathan mouthed in frustration “what was that play call?”. I couldn’t figure out what RKK said, but Jonathan then said, “This is all terrible.”

I hope they take action. Of all the coaches, I actually think AVP is the least of their worries. I think they need to blow out Mayo and virtually everyone else and start from scratch. Fucking idiots.

Washington was a dumpster fire last year. They drafted Daniels and signed multiple free agents that are starting and contributing and also drafted guys that are starting and contributing as well. This isn't hard if you do it correctly.

So you offer enough money to make them change their minds, which the Krafts have been unwilling to do. Then you have to offer your first choices for coordinators/assistants enough money to make them want to work with a rookie coach. Instead the Krafts cheaped out as usual.

I watched about 10 snaps of the game. When I tuned in they were down 13 late in the 3rd, and Maye had 12 pass attempts.

So I’m going to assume they failed miserably in every facet.

They took the wrong Husky receiver. Jalen McMillen has had a solid rookie season for the Bucs.

With how bad that both the front office and the coaching has been, can we even say with any amount of certainty that the picked the wrong guys or if they did pick the right guys, would they have a shot of developing under this coaching staff?

It's really amazing they came out of the bye week looking worse than ever. That first series was so utterly incompetent. And it went downhill from there.
I thought the first series was actually really good until the holding penalty. They moved the ball pretty crisply down to the Arizona 18, but a holding penalty brought it back.

Having game goat threads this season seems a bit self-flagellatory (is that even a word). Why bother? It's the same answers every week.

It seems like Jones/Zappe + Belichick is roughly equal to Maye + Mayo.
It's actually a good question as to whether last year's team with Mac at QB and BB at the helm would beat this year's team with Maye and Mayo.

Everyone aside from Maye and Gonzo is a cheap, lying, no-good, rotten, four-flushing, low-life, snake-licking, dirt-eating, inbred, overstuffed, ignorant, blood-sucking, dog-kissing, brainless, dickless, hopeless, heartless, fat-ass, bug-eyed, stiff-legged, spotty-lipped, worm-headed sack of monkey shit! Krafts. They are still acting like the smartest guys in the room and are putting out a real trash product. This is what happens when you let Brady walk and fire Bill. Eventually the buck stops with you. Now, do something about it. Mayo has been promoted to his level of incompetence. I think Wolf and Groh are eminently replaceable. They should at least be surveying the market to see if they can do better right now.

If BB stayed, there's no way Mac Jones is the starting QB. He probably would have signed Baker Mayfield if he didn't want to roll the dice on a QB in the draft.

McMillan was the better college player too. His technique and ability to create separation was far superior to Polk

his play strength and knee issues were definite concerns though. They both should have been 3rd round picks probably

This is what happens when you fire your coach, but still want "The Patriot Way", so you promote from within and elevate a guy who's never been a DC, never mind a head coach, then double down and promote from within and elevate a guy to DC who has zero business being one.

I hated the Mayo hiring on day one and hate it even more now, talentwise this might be the worst Patriots team in my lifetime.

My interest last year was minimal at best; this year, it's officially bottomed out. We had a holiday get together today, we watched the red zone instead of the game, we saw bits and pieces of the game via highlights there and it was unwatchable.

They should have cleaned house and conducted a real HC and GM search; if nothing else and you are bound and determined to hire Mayo, surround him with more experienced OC's and DC's to hold his hand/help him out.

What a fucking disaster, the front office and entire coaching staff needs to go, they need a total reboot, they've already wasted year one of the Maye contract.

They'll have a full house at Foxboro for the Bills game; 95% of whom will be Bills fans, just like the last game of the 1990 season vs the Giants when 95% of the fans at the game were Giants fans.

Washington was a better team than their record last year, it came up in basically every weeks ganethread, they did some of the most obvious tanking the league has seen. That should have been a 7 win team minimum
