Outstanding. Part of good cap management is bringing in guys like this to challenge for bottom 6 roles. It creates good competition on the roster as well as ensuring that you never have to overpay the Campbell's and Paille's when their deals are up. Cycle in the next hungry players on ELCs.
*Best* case scenario. He's undersized and can't score. This signing is to add a high character player to their org but he's likely going to be a career minor leaguer.

I just did the math and figured this out.

Robert Gordon Orr was born 3/20/48. He was inducted into the hall of fame on 9/12/79.

That means he was alive for 11498 days before he was inducted into the HHoF. He has been in the HHoF for 14094 days, or roughly 55% of his life. It astounds me that he is considered to be one of the greatest hockey players to have ever lived, and he RETIRED at 31. I'm 35.

Man I wish I'd been alive to be a Bruins fan then. Now isn't bad either though.
