Thanks guys. Being a Wednesday fan is usually shit, but every once in a while you get a day in the sun. Glorious.

I will be at the Banshee in Dorchester Monday morning at 10:00 to publicly stress myself out over the inevitable loss to Barnsley

Wednesday have parted company with Darren Moore by mutual consent. Backroom staff gone too.

Sheffield Wednesday manager Darren Moore has left the club less than a month after guiding them to promotion to the Championship.
The 49-year-old joined the Owls in March 2021 and led them to victory in May's League One play-off final against Barnsley.
In addition, Moore's backroom staff have also left Hillsborough.
"Both parties believe that now is the right time we go our separate ways," chairman Dejphon Chansiri said.
"The journey of Sheffield Wednesday with Darren has been in many ways unique and always as a team. In the football industry, journeys come to an end and now is that time, which we both agree.
"The mutual respect we have for each other is immense on a personal and professional basis and I offer my sincere thanks for the dedication and commitment Darren has given to our club."

I have no thoughts yet except to be grateful for what Moore did to restore some faith in the fans and unite a fanbase that tends to splinter pretty easily. He's a class act and will forever be loved in Sheffield for what he presided over this last couple of seasons. No one really knows what's going on right now although it has all of the hallmarks of a Dephon Chansiri shart.

Given the lack of information and my personal opinion that Moore would have struggled in a league where you can't just get by on having the best team and some passion, I'm waiting to see what follows before I get up in arms either way.

Edit: Schedules out on Thursday, will start the Championship Thread then, hopefully will know more about the Wednesday situation
