Been watching this since the 60s, this is why I turned it off. Sox and Angels might lose but are never intimidated at Der Terlet. Houston? bahaha! Gordon Heyward injury is SO NASTY that it is stunning.

On another sad note, Gordon Heyward of the Celtics snapped his ankle horrifically 5 minutes into his debut.

Zero chance this goes back to Houston with the Astros up 3-2. Zero. Yankees in 6, 7 if Keuchel does his thing and they score a couple runs.

Go Dodgers.

this game was over once Altuve fucked up the rundown. that said, Devenski being crap makes their already meh bullpen completely suspect, and they feasted.

Correa needs to stop sucking in NY, or Keuchel/Verlander will have to carry the whole load for them

This was the game Houston needed. To lose the way they did when they had the game in hand will cause them to be tight rest of series. Would love to be wrong but expect them to find a way to screw it up.

The altuve play to me will be turning point in this series for Houston if they lose it.
Headley was dead to rights if altuve is where he is supposed to be.
How the hell are u behind the bag at that point???
Would have been 4-2 one out man on third. Instead it was tying run in scoring position no ojts
Just brutal

Devenski failed to get an out in the critical 7th in our game 3 as well. he's supposed to be their Andrew Miller type and he has flailed so far in the postseason

Is Redick a better outfielder than Marwin? I would like to think so. Marwin looked like he was running in quicksand on all those flyballs hit to him in the 7th and 8th. I have to think a better outfielder catches one of those balls.

DDB called this.
Yes he did; call me a cock eyed optimist, but I still think their two aces shut these assholes down and the Astors scratch out some runs and they win it in 6.

Either that or I'm half cocked and the Astors are not coming back from this total tire fire of a bullpen performance, how do you blow a 4-0 lead, all started when Quasimodo launched one into the next time zone and all those escaped mental patients at MFY stadium got whipped into a frenzy.

Altuve had some nice hits the first two games but he really hasn't been playing smart baseball. Running home when he had no business going home was hidden by an error on Sanchez. Since then, he's looked like a petulant child in the box and not making very smart plays at 2nd.

Totally agree.
That's a head up the ass play that could have killed the rally but instead gave it even more momentum than if it was a standup double.

Just came to see if someone made this point. McCullers was cruising, his pitch count was low, and the bullpen is shaky. Pulling McCullers after a single Johnson was criminal and started the shitshow.
We shall see how deep he goes with keuchel and Verlander now - til their arms fall off?

I felt Joe took Gray out too early as well, but I guess he has the bullpen to make that aggressive move and Hinch doesn't.

this one is the difference for sure if the Yanks win the series.
