I will quit being a Red Sox fan if we start using chants like the shit Baltimore is breaking out tonight.
That will never, ever happen. We just do "Sweet Caroline".

The Royals get lucky, looking none too adept at this "fielding" thing.

James "Perforated" Shields just fell two ranks on the list of desirable free agent starters.

On the other hand, if we start using chants like Liverpool soccer fans, SoSH would have a field day.

I'm rooting for Three Little Birds to fly back to Fenway in April.

This assumes he was ever desirable. Not to me,

Yet another P word to be used in front of Shields.

How many times have we seen that this year?  Guy swipes the bag and comes off and gets tagged.

Orioles are winning the WS. Just the way it is. We have a couple of weeks to get used to it, but it is what it is.

Hitting the runner in the back is not an error? He n eeded to throw higher.

The official scorer ludicrously awarded a stolen base there instead of an error. Throw didn't have to be higher, just keep it on the inside of the baseline which is where the 2B was when he made the throw. No excuses for drilling the runner in the small of the back.

He didn't come off, he was pushed off.

I hope Pedroia is watching this.

particularly the part about giving the baserunner a delicate shove to get him off the base.

Not as much as we should. Seems like holding the glove on the runner doesn't happen often enough.

EDIT: Oh yeah, he was pushed off.

Me too.  The crazy guy just keeps building up his shoe collection. Every freaking day he's posting a new pair of Nikes specially made shoes.  I'll see him next month.

It might be sacrilege to say so, but Miller looks better now that he's gotten over the civil war look.
