I went over to a Royals message board just for kicks, and saw the term "Yosted" three times in six posts. I guess it's a common verb with them.

MLB got a lot of criticism for stubbornly playing through hard rain in the 2008 world series and way way back in the day in the 1977 NLCS. They don't want to look bad playing in ridiculous conditions again. Now that it's pouring they look sensibly proactive.Shane said:
