Blue Jays are slightly favored as Tito's bullpen tricks won't be as effective in a 7 game series. Otherwise these seem to be evenly matched teams - the question is, will Bauer / Tomlin be able to repeat their pixie dust? Plus Cleveland will likely have to have a 4th starter, who is really their 6th starter.

You'd think if it's a short series, Blue Jays come out on top, if long, Cleveland will find a way to edge it out.

When Dan Shaunessey tells me I have to cheer for the Cubs...Big, big fan of Napoli & Tito. Wearing my party at Napoli's shirt for the duration.

Jordan Bastian reports on the Indians and this was a gem:

Mike Napoli was on his way to the field at Globe Life Park earlier this weekend when he overheard a reporter ask manager Terry Francona what the first baseman has brought to the Indians this year. Napoli stopped inside the visitors' dugout, leaned in behind the media and waited for Francona's response.

"Nothing," Francona quipped. "Zero."
Napoli threw his arms up and laughed.

"Oh, come on," roared the first baseman. "Let me hear it!"

"He's probably one of the worst guys I've ever been around," Francona continued with a smirk.

Once the laughter died down, Francona went on to praise Napoli, not only for his play on the field, but his leadership behind the scenes. The manager said the first baseman has helped keep the team pulling in one direction and has led by example through his daily preparation. Francona has been repaying Napoli of late by carefully managing his playing time.

I heard a good story about Napoli. It's from a friend of a friend of a friend who works at a downtown Cleveland casino, so it's probably been embellished, but...

The night the Tribe signed Napoli, he sat down at the black jack table and proceeded to win $300,000. When he got up to leave, he tipped the dealers $100,000.

Two to one odds he had an uncommanded throttle up or bumped the throttle on his transmitter. That's why you're supposed to take the props off them when you're working on them.

Is this TBS's first LCS? I thought the Ernie Johnson hell was over after the Sox lost. Oof.

Dayum Blue Jays raking. Eddie E laughed at Kluber's brush back.

I know they have to do it, but all these reminders of Sox failures in the LDS are less than fun for me.
They don't have to do anything, but they will keep doing it because this powerhouse Indians team is the second coming of the 27 Yankees with first ballot HOF locks like Chisenhal and Perez.

And I would have lost a bet too, if the bet was "Is Coco Fucking Crisp still active or retired?" as I would have guessed that stiff was retired.

My only memory of Santana is when, whoever it was on the Sox...nava? Slid into his knee and hyper extended it.

E squared sure would look nice in the three of four hole next season for a certain team that plays half their games in the Fens.
