Clearly, the sun was to one side as he sailed out in the morning, and on the other as he sailed back. In this story, the sun moves across the sky over the course of the day.
Uh, maybe it was a high speed circumnavigation, Kyrie.

Well some Sox fans will get their wish. Yes. it's not officially over but please, it's over.

PsychoDrama, come on down.

In truth, as much as I really didn't want this result, beating this team and their arrogant, hateful fans will be very enjoyable.

More than anything, I wanted to avoid the Yankees because I can't stand the idea of a game turning on a 300 foot pop up that goes out. It's absurd, at least in Fenway's left field you need to get some height on the ball. The only game I ever went to in Yankee Stadium (the old one) was lost in extra innings on a Paul O'Neill home run where he slammed the bat down in disgust before the ball somehow left the park.

Wow who could have predicted Fernando Rodney would blow it. High quality managing from Oakland today

Look we all expected this outcome. No one really thought the the A’s we’re gonna beat the MFY’s as much as we wanted them to.

Guess we need the Sox to slay the giant.

They’ll score a run in the 8th when it’s 6-0 Yankees
Hmm. Want to give this some attention.

Also yeah, there wasn't much that was absolute. I think the NFL concept of called on the field is going to hold there, no matter which way it was, for that reason.

Hey, two easy outs. That could have been useful a few minutes ago.

A big FU to Melvin for his stupid bullpen game plan and a bigger FU for putting Rodney in.

I wanted the Yankees, and most of me still does (small shift because of how bad Oakland looked tonight), but one playoff game at YS was enough to generate more rage than I've felt in a while.

Well, can’t really say this is surprising.
Also, shouldn’t have expected someone else to take care of our dirty work. Looks like it’s going to be up to the Sox to take care of the Yanks. Not sure my blood pressure is ready for the next week, especially if the Sox resemble their September form...

A's threw out Treinen in the 6th. We're gonna throw out who? Workman? Brasier?
If the Red Sox put up 3 games of the kind of offense the A's displayed tonight it won't matter who they throw. I don't expect that to be the case though. YMMV.
