This. Mahomes seemed afraid to throw the ball in the 2nd half.
Terrified. It was really odd. He had plenty of time too, it wasn’t like the rush was in his face. He was definitely confused, and it is hard to not fault the play-calling from KC — where were the quick screens and throws? MaChokes just kept sitting, scrambling for non reason, and taking sacks/losses. It was weird that he kept refusing to throw the ball away, especially on the last play before they kicked the tying FG.

This is the first time I can recall neither 1 or 2 making the SB, sure it's happened before but not in a long time

I have been very impressed with Esiason’s work this season, and am loving that hes positively emotional about the Bengals going back to the Super Bowl.

Would love to know what the fight was about on the sideline with Hardman. Their offense didn’t do anything after that and the botched play at the end of half. Either way, if they were rattled and all out of sorts.

Reid will get some shit for the end of the first half, but I think it was a pretty defensible decision and objectively that last play is on Mahomes making a dumb decision to throw to Hill. Reid's history will unfairly be used to add blame for that one too IMO.

Mahomes is really really good but he is otherworldly because of Hill and Kelce, and it seemed like Hill was just taken out of the equation in the second half. He looked as if he kept looking for Hill and he wasn't;t there.

I like Mahomes but the rest of the Chiefs is so very unlikable. Have to think that window is closing, and maybe it has a year or two left, but that's about it.
Mahomes is very good and fun to watch. Announcers make it hard to like him with their fawning, which I imagine people always felt about Brady too. I like Andy Reid too.

Hill is a MONSTER piece of shit though, and it cancels everything else out. I'll root against any team employing Tyreek Hill, and that includes the Patriots.

A visit to Chiefs Planet may be in order
According to many posters over there, this was a bag job vs the Chiefs and the NFL got the result they wanted.

Right; sure they did.

Mahomes and that Sideshow Bob hairdo is the poster boy of the league, this is not the result the NFL wanted.

Morons.

Could not agree more. Hill is a POS and any team that employs him is garbage.

Will anyone in media have courage to call out Mahomes for being a serious choker in the 2nd half?
Starting just before the end of the 1st half.
He lost his sharpness and made horrible decisions.

Still less responsible than Andy Reid for the atrocious decisions at the end of the first half.
Exactly. A pass outside the end zone with no time left? Wtf? I mean, I suppose If it’s a timing play to the sideline then maybe, but…
Mahommes shouldn’t have thrown jt, but the option shouldn’t even have been there. Was there an audible?

Also please allow me to introduce you to Frank Clark.

Good for the Bengals fans who traveled. I'm sure that they had to suffer a load of shit all weekend. Must feel good to get the last laugh.

One of:

Matthew Stafford
Jimmy G
Joe B

is about to win their first ring (JG as a starter). Look, if it’s not the Pats, that’s what I want to see. Three deserving guys, not on douchebag-laden teams (though LA is debatable, but McVay is a damn good and deserving coach), will be happy to see any of them do it for a variety of reasons.

I want Cincy to win, but there are no bad results here on out. The two bad results got knocked off last weekend and today.
