Just got this pop-up on my new Lenovo x140e:

I'm trying to cut back on useless memory-resident crap, but I have no idea how essential/beneficial this is or how much of a hog it might be. I've never gotten any notices about this on my previous computers.

Yea or Nay?

EDIT - Running Win 7 (64-bit).

I get that on my work computer when trying to open a certain program that uses it but my home PC doesn't have it. Do you get this popup in general or when opening a specific program?

EDIT: I found it mentioned online that it is used for the Lenovo Solution Center.

Well that says you already have it installed. So if you decide you don't need it, be sure to go uninstall it.

Air lets developers wrap a Flash object as a standalone executable. You can probably uninstall and just grab the latest in the unlikely event you end up needing it.

Weird, I have a Lenovo and do not have Air installed but the utilities work.

The only thing I've ever needed Air for is TweetDeck.
