9/7: Despoil Again

Lose Remerswaal

Leaves after the 8th inning. Brings the noise.

Yeah, the Yankees probably don't care so much about individual games, so beating them once likely doesn't hurt. But beat 'em again today and it might get their ears pricked up. Sox did it once, they can do it again.

Was it over when German bombed in Fenway Park?

Hoping here in Nova Scotia that Dorian allows the power to stay on so I can watch this game. A few hours away from its arrival but wind gusts are already strong and there are power outages around the area.

With Pineda off the roster.... do the Twins really stand even a chance?!!? Now I'm leaning towards Houston getting the no. 2 seed, and hoping that the A's, Rays or Indians could possibly beat the Yankees in 5 (more likey than the Twins, even moreso now)

Why is JD in the outfield in a season that is over?

What good could possibly come from that?

Cora completely lost the plot this season.

Its September and this Red Sox team still sucks hard at the fundamentals

Really bad job by Cora and I’m a Cora guy

Martinez started 57 games in the OF in 2018, but only 7 on the road against NL clubs. Counting today's game, he has started 35 games in the OF and only 8 of those against NL clubs on the road. Because they lose the DH when playing in NL stadia, there is logic to starting Martinez in the OF in those games but why do they want to do it more often in Fenway Park?

Because Bradley can't hit for shit but JDM is really butchering it in the field this year.

I've said it before. Starting JDM in the outfield is not trying to win. I don't care how badly JBJ is hitting.

Stuck watching YES, Cone and Kay talking about the great job constructing the bullpen... maybe DD can take a lesson on how to build one.

?????The Sox bullpen has been amazing given the overwork from the incredibly short starts by the starting pitchers. This may be the best bullpen DDski has ever put together.
