Miami (oh, Miami!)
I will be out of pocket much of tomorrow, so I will start this now, noting there are are many glues in the world, some social, and some more literal. You can huff both, but the literal ones are in play here as evidenced by:

Kaleb Ort. Closer.

What's next? Bobby Dalbec at SS? Getting Eric Hosmer in play for the final push to where-ever-it-is-we're-going?

Regardless of the particular disordered realities the Sox embrace, taking Alek Manoah down a peg or two is worth assembling the finest collection of non-medical-science-adverse players we can muster.

Let's go get 'em. Even if -no- especially if there are two last minute additions from Worcester.

Duran is back? Why?

And does Aubrey Huff play for the Blue Jays? I don't get the title.

I'm glad they're calling Duran up. He had a .749 OPS for Worcester in September. A week in the majors is a small sample size, but if he's going to implode, now is better than next year.

Also, did you take my glue? I saw you looking at my glue!!!
If he implodes, it will be harder to trade him in offseason.

Don;t play him and trade him to someone with tons of young pitchers for a bullpen piece, ideally with options.

He could snap, beat the shit out of Manoah and then who wouldn't want him? Win all around I'd say!

Sniff, sniff. . .wheeze.

Monaco having some trouble judging fly balls tonight. The second time he thought it was heading more towards center than right.

OK. You know, being ready to take the ball frequently isn't the highest compliment for a pitcher. I think I'll go back to the book I'm reading. There's a comic character in there who talks even more than Mazz. but at least she's funny.
