I went to see a house yesterday on Long Island that I really liked. It was an open house and the agent presenting said it was built by her dad and her mom, Ruth. So, I have a chance to buy the house that Ruth built. I may or may not be willing to pay more for that house than others.

5 walks and only 5 innings from Paxton last start. Result wasn't terrible but seemed like a step back for a very strong August. Keep getting better and go kick ass. We need August Paxton in October.

Scranton with an insane comeback just now to make the AAA playoffs, 5 in th 7th and 8 in the 8th to win 14-13, now guys like Severino and Betances have AAA games to rehab in (if Scranton lost today, their season was over).

Chapman wins AL reliever of the month for the second time, he won it in May also and Kahnle won it in July. Shane Greene won it in April and our buddy from the weekend Liam Hendriks won it in June, that's it for this season.

Chapman has looked scary good the past month. Most confident I've ever been in him really.

He stays in the AB but that did not look good. I hope we don't find out anything after the game.

The good thing is they left Sanchez in even in a 10-0 game, so they really must not be concerned.

Am I the only one who still finds it a bit surreal for Encarnacion to be hitting homers for the Yankees instead of against them?

Kay earlier mentioned that Wade can be valuable on a postseason roster. If he continues hitting then why not? It’ll be nice to have someone with great speed and versatility(plays IF and OF). To date, he has been 6/6 in stolen bases.

I don’t think there’s a spot for him if everyone is healthy, but Tauchman and Gardner should be coming off the bench for speed if needed.

Sanchez-C
LeMahieu-1B
Gleyber-2B
Didi-SS
Urshela-3B
Stanton-LF
Hicks-CF
Judge-RF
Encarnacion-DH

bench-Voit, Tauchman, Gardner, Romine

No traditional backup infielder because if you need one, you move DJ to 2B or 3B.

Yeah, I think Wade will be the odd man out. Of course the injury bug usually solves these concerns before the team has to make a hard call. At least this year.
