Leicester and Spurs start us off. Coffee is brewed. Oh and I guess Southampton and Bournemouth played a derby yesterday.

Spurs have dropped Eriksen and Dele in favor of a Winks-Sissoko-Dembele midfield.

Quite an up-tempo start in the first few minutes.

Leicseter have a goal VARed off after a bad goalkeeper error then Sissoko gets booked for wiping out a Leicester player.

That’s a better way to shush the diving talk that talking about it in a press conference.

VAR claims another. Take more joy from the game.
Barely offside. The right call to reverse it, but no one would have complained in a pre-VAR world.

I'm afraid that we're headed toward an NFL-style situation where everyone stands around and waits for the replay after anything significant happens.

Was it offside? How do they determine exactly in which frame the ball is played? And what is the margin of error on the technology?

Strangely despite the score this has been one of Spurs' best performances this season.

Chelsea know they can jump to defend against the free kick, right?

Guendouzzi completely fails to attempt to cover his man leading to a easy, but well played goal from Villa. Meanwhile Maitland Niles picked up two yellows in 40 minutes so Arsenal are clean to ten men.

I've been an Emery apologist, but losing to Villa at home should probably be the end of him if that's the final result.

Arsenal currently losing at home to Aston Villa, and down to 10 men. What a pathetic failure this is shaping up to be.

That’s fair. Who could they get to replace him, though? I don’t think the lack of a big name should necessarily be an obstacle to canning Emery, but it’s a consideration.
Bruce Arena.

More seriously, I think you'd have to go with an interim manager and then do a full search in the summer.

Chelsea haven’t been as bad as the score line...except on set pieces. Frank needs to get the boys out on the practice pitch.

Liverpool looked gassed the last half hour, but winning at Chelsea doesn’t have to look pretty. They just needed to take the points.

Kante was MOTM. Creates his own fantastic goal, stops Salah from breaking through a couple minutes later. Someone should put him at the heart of a team...
