Eddie Riv... clearly a 4 inning pitcher.

In his 1st 4 innings he allowed 0 runs on 2 hits, 1 bb & 7 k.

He came back out for the 5th & struck out the 1st hitter, but then allowed a couple singles & hit a guy, allowing a run & leaving with 2 out & 2 on.

Conor Steinbaugh allowed a double letting both runners score & messing up Rivera's like.

Salem down 5-2 in the bottom of the 7th.

After Fitts, Wyatt Olds pitched 2 scoreless innings in 2 hits, a walk, a balk & 4 k.

Luis Guerrero allowed his 1st run since he allowed 3 on August 2nd (maybe don't pitch him on the 2nd day of the month?), but he picked up the save & Worcester won 3-1.

Since we do the important research on this forum, I can tell you that Luis Guerrero has pitched on the 2nd of the month 4 times in the past 2 years... this August & September and last August & September (1 scoreless inning each day. In '22, the only 2nd he pitched was September 2nd (1.1 scoreless).

So yeah...I guess he always pitches September 2nd & it's kind of his thing.

Steinbaugh allowed 2 more of his own in 2.1 innings & Denis Reguillo allowed 2 runs in 6 hits & a walk in 2 innings, putting Salem down 7-3 headed to the bottom of the 9th.

Kristian Campbell with a hit and a walk to go with a K, extends his on-base streak to 17 games. Teel with 2 hits and walk and no K! Awesome to see Fitts pitching well, hopefully this continues to be a thing.
