So two wins against the Giants and sweep the Orioles to close the book gets them to 41-40 at home.
Correction: 2 of the "home" losses were in London, so they are currently 36-38 at Fenway. So 2 losses the remainder of the Giants/Orioles games will result in a losing Fenway record.

Just saw on Twitter that Cora said Mookie may DH in Tampa and that JD would be re-evaluated then. So Price is the only known shut down.

This statement strikes me as the epitome of the entitled fan. We have seen some very good baseball by Mookie, Bogaerts, Devers, JDM, and HOLT.
We have seen some amazing work by the bullpen given the excruciating starting pitching. JBJ continues to astonish with his defense. X and HOLT have also made some extremely nifty plays. So, you have found nothing good. Boo Hoo. Why don't you just take a sabbatical for a while? Come back when the players meet your standards.

It just struck me that last night, in a gruesome loss, there were three defensive plays that amazed: JBJ, X, and HOLT (the latter so awkward, but he almost never plays RF in Fenway, a hard place to sub in.) Those plays were NOT DRECK. (OR DOES "DREK" REFER TO SOMETHING ELSE?)
about the only thing left is Raffy getting to 30 HR so both he and X have 30 HR, 50 2B. But I'm not sure he's going to even hit another one, he looks like he's back in 2017-18 right now.
As a matter of fact, I'm indeed taking a from Red Sox games sabbatical in less than two weeks and will be back mid-February!

That Yaz first pitch was great. My dad was big on Yaz, but I only really remember him trying to get to 3,000 hits for a long time. Ah, mortality. Where would baseball be without it?
I'd still rather watch the Red Sox play out the string than watch anything with Charlie Moore in it. It's a long winter ahead.

May 1, 1920, the Brooklyn Robins met the Boston Braves for an afternoon game that was called when the sun went down after the 26th inning...a 1-1 tie in which both starters went the whole way and the time of the game was 3 hours 50 minutes. Somebody knew how to speed up pace of play.
Looking at team wRC+ leaders for September, and amazingly the only team worse than the Red Sox on offense this month has been.. the Giants.
