The A-Rod slap play question is a bit of dip-shittery. Arroyo pitched some good games, why tell him he's remembered for what some asshole did to him in a footnote play?

Miami (oh, Miami!)
I'm puzzled about the Houck thing. I mean, assuming they wanted to win early in the year, was there a reason not to call him up? He seems more of a legit starter than what they put out there after Eovaldi and Perez. How does the service time issue work this year?

Not sure about the service time, but Houck had only started 2 games above AA, and I'm sure the team wanted to give him plenty of work in the camp before throwing him against big league hitters.
