9/1 - Last West Coast of the Year

They’re done. Simply not that good. There was something fundamentally off with this team before game #1. They’re basically the 1984 Red Sox as a statistical comp. Some guys having mega-years, but a sort of statistical fury signifying nothing. Cora’s hubris set a bad vibe early. A vibe of laurel-resting, then they thought they could simply show up. They won’t finish strong because they can only function in spurts. They are incapable of sustain.

the Yankees' incompetence against the A's this year is really poorly timed. unless the A's win the WC game and the Yanks are the #1 seed, of course.

Last night was just an eyewall replacement cycle. They're stronger today.

It would be phenomenal if the Yankees help the Sox get into the postseason, and then they meet in the ALDS (or CS, depending on Houston) and the Sox knock them out.

X should be the AL MVP.

I disqualify Mike Trout, because he was born in fucking New Jersey.

I didn't realize Price was still this limited.

Chacin is going to get some run, and it might really suck.

Well the Boston starter didn’t allow a run which is always good.
