Regarding Keller: He gets paid his full salary if he declares free agency, right? So he got signed, called up, DFA, goes to free agency, collects his full check. Rinse and repeat twice?

Or do I have this totally wrong. Anyway, hopefully he is providing solid mentorship to the younger players in Worcester and that we never have to see him don a Red Sox uniform again after this season.

Very encouraging season from Romero to say the least.

His struggles with injuries and poor offensive performance made me concerned he was a bust of a pick, but he's been fantastic this season and Red Sox fans should be excited about him.

After all he's still only 20 and is now showing why he was a 1st round pick. Has made a great adjustment to AA competition and I'm excited to see how he does to finish the season.
