Bravo.

Was Owings even on the active roster when this game originally started? If not, I'm surprised it's legal to play him.
it's just whatever your active roster is when the game is continued, you could even theoretically switch teams in between the continuation and play for both teams in the same game

Rule 7.02(c):
(c) A suspended game shall be resumed at the exact point of suspension of the original game. The completion of a suspended game is a continuation of the original game. The lineup and batting order of both teams shall be exactly the same as the lineup and batting order at the moment of suspension, subject to the rules governing substitution. Any player may be replaced by a player who had not been in the game prior to the suspension. No player removed before the suspension may be returned to the lineup. A player who was not with the club when the game was suspended may be used as a substitute, even if he has taken the place of a player no longer with the club who would not have been eligible because he had been removed from the lineup before the game was suspended.

Enjoy the walk off win BROCKSTAR, you probably won't get another AB for 2 or 3 games. The Guy should be starting EVERY game.

I hope there's always enough room on the 25 for Brock.

What a glue guy he is. Kind of amazing the extent to which he's woven himself into the fabric of the club.

Holt just got a game winning hit and your immediate reaction is to feel sick? That's weird.
How is it weird to lament BH's usage this year? How many times was he pinch-hit for? Sometimes it worked out. I even remember those times. But so many times it didn't, and it was stupid. I wish the Sox had more wins, and in my opinion, playing BH more consistently would have given them a better chance. Not weird to feel that way.

It’s a suspended game from a month ago and a $5 donation to the Jimmy Fund you cheap, miserable fuck.
calm down. The owner could have just announced to give $5 to the JF for every fan in attendance. That dude has a little more $ than me.

Plus E5 Yaz made a great point and I took his advice to heart (and doubled and bought a hat on top)

I just fired up the replay because I entirely missed this. I immediately noticed that in OB's intro he starts off with "we could be here for 12 minutes, we could be here for 12 innings".

So the Red Sox just kind of backwardly extended a two game winning streak to three by winning the first game after winning the next two, but despite all that, have currently lost two in a row.
