Dear Gio Mike T,

We are big fans of yours. The superb defense was expected, but the timely hitting and overall offensive output has been a really nice surprise. Well, a surprise for most of us. Not much surprises Abbey. Anyway, we hope you are feeling better after getting dinged a couple of times by foul balls. I bet it hurts just a little bit less when you win.

Keep up the good work.

Appreciatively,

EE and the SOSH Yankees Fans

Boone says Holder is starting, maybe him and Tarpley can get through 4-5 innings combined.

Holder has been great after his abysmal June, and actually zero hits and walks since then in 3 IP. If he keeps it up, the BP will be even more impressive.

8:15 scheduled start.

Our old buddy Brandon Drury with a 3 run HR in the 2nd, TOR up 3-0 on TB.

Yeah, Boone said before the game he wanted 2 innings from Holder but at 20 pitches, you've got to push him.

This is the twitter account of the guy who wrote that Fangraphs article about Tauchman in February. It's entertaining.

Tauchman up to a .933 OPS now, I think he's been the best hitter in MLB since July 1.

Who do you mean in 2017? Judge and Sanchez were up in 2016 and were both big prospects. This is more like if Shane Spencer had a bunch of kids, scattered them around the majors, then NY eventually scooped them all up for nothing and they were studs.

I look forward to visiting the mark for that HR next time I go to Camden Yards. I usually just look for Giambi bombs.

2017 was the first year Judge was productive. He wasn't even sure to start out of spring training in 2017 after his horrible 2016 showing. It was was supposed to be the year of Bird and Sanchez. Instead, the Yankees became a juggernaut when Didi, Betances, Judge and Severino all emerged as stars.
