Agree with all of this but there is clearly some ire about it. Fans are calling into radio shows saying how cruel the Yankees are being to him. If there's any way to listen to WFAN from 6:15pm tonight, a fan called in saying "the yankees are being reverse racists by keeping him down because they want more diversity." People are getting stupid.
Not only is there an insane amount of stupidity around Yankee roster moves, but there is zero self-awareness when people are wildly wrong. Recently I went back and read some of the nyyfans discussion after DJ got signed and it is pretty much uniformly so remarkably stupid that you'd think people might be hesitant to offer up such strong opinions in the future, but it hasn't even made a dent.

Gotta be honest, even I'm surprised by this game. I was expecting us to get destroyed. Even Happ looks great.

He had a .924 OPS in AAA, which is better than Tauchman or Wade or Estrada or Clint have there.
I always though Higgy could hit high heat. He hit a few bombs last year. He had a 12-pitch AB in Fenway last week that spoke to his progress as a hitter.
We have to acknowledge at some point that Phil Plantier, a former Red Sox slugger, is doing a great job as hitting coach in Scranton.

Only the second time in Price's career he has had back to back outings under 5 innings, that's impressive and a bit surprising.

"Cameron Maybin, Mike Tauchman, Gio Urshela, and Luke Voit -- four Quad-A types on no one's radar one year ago today, and none even Yankees a year-plus-a-week ago today -- are currently hitting: .294/.376/.502(131 wRC+) (6 WAR) in 1,074 PA this year."

Ford robbed of a two-run double by JBJ, who made a running catch. That’s pretty much the same play Hicks made in Minnesota except he left his feet to secure the catch. JBJ has such style and grace.

This one's still a long way from over, NY does not have many relievers available.

Huge, 67 pitches through 5 for Happ. 6 for Happ, 3 for Cessa would be Boone's dream, more runs would help.

Yep, saw that coming a mile away. Far from over, NY needs to score more.
