the Red Sox have not won a series at Yankee Stadium since September 2017. that will continue into 2020.

How sure are we that Price will actually pitch?
Sure he's probable, but . . .

I have been trying to find Price's record against the various members of the NYY lineup, with almost no success. Many lists have Morales and Ellsbury (!) on them and not some of the younger guys. Anybody who wants to help with that, TIA.

Does that mean that if there are 2 outs, the Sox should walk whoever is batting ahead of Maybin since he has a zero percent chance of getting a hit off of Price?

Wouldn't be shocked if the Angels and Rangers jumped ahead of the Sox by next sunday

Bi-Coastal, for the time being
So, I'm not a super big fan of Price's personality... but if he does start tonight it would be consistent with one of his more appealing traits. Putting the team in front of his own personal life, even when the chips are down.

Shitty as the Sox are playing, if I were scheduled to start a couple days after Mrs. Mugsy delivered Mugsy Jr., I think I'd probably take the excuse to ask for an extra day off.

Look at some of their numbers against Price. I hope you are right, though.
Most of those with numbers are on the IL, slumping (Judge) or just coming off the IL (Didi) and much came during his first 2 years of suckitude against the Yankees in a RS uniform. He has been much better against them of late since going to the cutter more

According to my accuweather app the delay was due to imaginary rain. Mother nature is blameless

I think it was the imaginary lightning that caused it.
Maybe the game will be imaginary too. Imagine each fan being able to determine the outcome of any game they watch. Fan satisfaction guaranteed. The official score recorded in the historical record will be the mathematical average of all the fans imaginary outcomes. Instead of paying players teams will pay the most loyal fans who will bring them the most virtual wins that will then yield the team the official win. Players will just be fungible virtual entities whose performance is dictated by the fans collective imagination.

Have I said lately how much I despise Alex Rodriguez? And then rest of this broadcast team as well. Two fucking Sundays in a row.

I'll feel better if the Sox kick their ass. But get ready for this all night...
