Xander’s hurt, JD’s in a funk, Verdugo hasn’t been consistent since well before the All-Star break, and 1B has been a black hole since day one.

And that’s to say nothing of the starting pitching lately.

Biggest concern by far is not having enough starting pitcher innings to get to the finish line. Outside of Eovaldi 4 seems about the norm.

It’s 4 plus when you factor in them staying on the mound and putting at least two more runners on when they had no business still being in the game.
