Dombrowski did a great job last year, but he’s not the guy I want trying to turnaround this mess. I don’t believe he can build a good pen or rebuild the farm, both of which are critically important for the Red Sox going forward

Brewer hasn't done a lot, but he's handled the Yankees in London and then here tonight.

Through all this doom and gloom people are losing sight of the big picture.

The game thread reached five pages.

Sean really pissed about how long Barnes took to make all those shitty pitches. I agree with him. Baseball will die if they don’t increase the pace of play.

That’s a harsh assessment. He was awfully good last year, including a Tito-like playoff performance
I think a fairer assessment is that he hasn't been able to get the team back on track. He did an amazing job last year, but there were no real lasting streaks or prolonged adversity.

Starting to feel like the Red Sox may not win another game this season.

Sometimes I think Cora’s more interested in being Governor of Puerto Rico than manager of a baseball team.

Not to say he can’t do both.

Wouldn’t the pitching coaching be more due for criticism than Cora and the rest of his staff? How could they not fix this shit?

Cora couldn't snap them out of their sloppy play.
