In the 4th inning, Nelly T has both of Greenville's hits & all 3 of their rbi. Not a great Jedixson Paez game so far, though, trailing 4-3.

Salem lost 5-2...

But Eduardo Rivera has become interesting.

The 6'7 21 y/o lefty was released from the A's A-Ball team, the Stockton Ports, on May 21st. He was signed by the Red Sox on June 12th & assigned to the FCL Sox.

Rivera, from Sam Juan, Puerto Rico, was the A's 11th round pick in '21. He had a 4.70 ERA in 7.2 IP in the FCL & was brought to A-Ball on July 31st after the FCL season ended.

He has been very good for Salem, both today & in his 18 innings since being promoted...

Anthony with a huge night and Campbell with the bomb, but Meidroth 2 for 3 with a triple and 3 walks...he has an OBP of .453 in a full season at AAA as a 22 year old, and is a longshot at best to make the team next year.
