We're in the top of the 9th & the only hit Portland has allowed was a single allowed by Justin Slaten. He went walk, single, strikeout & Chris Troye allowed 1 of the runners to score.

1-1 in the 9th.

Anthony Rizzo is in the lineup for Somerset & is 0-1 with 2 walks. Clarke Schmidt started & Lou Trivino also pitched an inning.

An intentional walk, another walk & a 3-1 count with the bases loaded later, I'm starting to doubt the intentionality of this... but Horn got a ground out on a 3-1 sweeper to send the game to extras.

Meidroth due up 4th in the 10th.

Carlson pitched a 1-2-3 9th as well, this time with a strikeout, to secure the save in his 1st High-A game since his last brief stint ended after 1 game on April 21st.

Greenville won 2-0.

Wow, what a 10th inning for the WooSox! Campbell (personally I like his high energy, high impact swing) and Anthony with the dingers and Guerrero (we all like him, right?) with the impressive close-out. And 4 hits for Meidroth who I admittedly have not been all that sure of but right now, seems like another guy we could try at 2nd for the big club.

Cole Tolbert started for Salem & allowed 2 runs in 3 innings, then Matt Duffy allowed 3 in 5 innings. Now whatever this is.

I can't for the life of me ever understand why guys like Talavera, Reguillo & Francis are still around but LDLR isn't.
