So... the GCL Sox could not get a hit for the first 3 innings, were down 5-0 to the Os... and then the rain came.

And, the game now shows as canceled.

Which, is a super anti-climactic way to back into the title.

DSL2 lose to the Co-Op 2-1 after deciding to just ditch the second game entirely.

Bryan Lucas let in two runs (one earned) on one hit, one walk, and two wild pitches over four frames; whiffing six. Robinson Parra relinquished a hit and a walk over four innings; striking out three. Gregori Segovia pitched a 1-2-3 ninth.

Gabriel Perez procured a single and a double while being caught stealing in four plate appearances. Kleiber Rodriguez reached with a single and two walks in four treks; he also stole a base. Nelfy Abreu and Gregori Custodio each clubbed a single in four contests. Luis Hernandez was hit by a pitch in four forays. I think it's beautiful, after the Orioles started that game where we were kicking their asses 5-0 before the rain came and caused it to be canceled and our lead wiped out. So now our farm team gets the same exact break against their farm team with the same exact score, and our kids win the title. It's only the GCL, but screw the entire Orioles organization anyway.

Karma, dude, karma.

Daniel Gonzalez restarted the game on Wednesday, giving up three runs on eight hits – including Jomar Reyes round tripper – and a walk over five frames; striking out one. Joan Martinez yielded two runs on a walk and two hits – including a Wilson Garcia gopher ball – over the final three innings.

Josh Tobias thumped a single and a jack while drawing a free pass in four jaunts. Tyler Hill hammered a single, drew a walk, and was picked off/caught stealing in five trips. C.J.
