With five games left in the regular season, the GCL Red Sox are in fantastic shape to continue the organizations long streak of having a team in the playoffs (Back to the early 1990s at least).

They happen to be two games up with the two teams chasing them (Rays and Twins) facing off against each other the next three days. Meanwhile, the Sox get to face the woeful Orioles, who have won only 13 games this season and are 18 games in back of the Red Sox.

The Red Sox are 9-1 in their last 10 against the O's after starting out 1-4 against them.

The Red Sox could clinch the division title as early as Wednesday if they sweep the Orioles and the other series is not swept by one of the teams.
