I wouldn’t kid about something like that. Too important. Costas mentioned it on MLB tv.

I guess he’ll be back in a week. But still.
Apparently he already returned to his radio show and interviewed Cashman. Should be back on TV soon.

I wonder how many tires Sullivan has to sell to produce one of those ads. Can’t be more than 100

Yankee fans can chirp all they want, we've had their number for 15 years. have fun against the Astros in October - we beat them last year, can you do it this year Yanks?

This is where I’m at. We don’t have it this year but they’re going to have to go through Verlander/Cole/Greinke and a loaded lineup and pen with their shit rotation. We just need to beat them enough to help Houston get home field.

I’m more convinced than ever that you can’t just bring back the same team. What a deadass, underachieving team

and yes, Altuve was compromised last year but we beat Cole & Verlander dead-on once each.

Yanks couldn't beat the Astros at Minute Maid in 2017, we swept them in 2018 in Houston. talk to the hand Yanks.

Everybody's given up - a 2:47 Sox/Yanks game, and a 4 page game thread.
it was pretty clear early on this was one of those nothing offense games.

I'm not discounting a huge winning streak when the schedule lightens up and interest drums up again. but they're in a huge hole they never quite got out of since April, and making the ALDS would be an enormous accomplishment. winning 90 games might be too much now, too.

Mike Yastrzemski still cares. Just crushed a two run, go ahead bomb in Colorado for the Giants. Why can't the Sox get players grandkids like that?

I dunno, 05 at least they rallied to make the playoffs. 06 they were just in third gear all year.

This version never seems to get the two out hit. They never seem to get the double play ball they need. Lately they don't seem to get that great catch in the outfield either. Basically everything that they seemed to get last year. Baseball is a funny-ass game, boy.

We all know what happened the next year after 2006, however...
